Kunstelj Inn is one of the three oldest inns in Radovljica. Since 1873, it has delighted both local and international guests with its culinary offerings.
We take pride in our traditional Slovenian cuisine, enriched with a few modern dishes. On our menu, you’ll find beloved classics like tender veal liver, crispy Kunstelj-style chicken, and our signature Carniolan sausage in pastry — dishes we’re best known for — alongside a wide variety of other meals, including steaks, burgers, Idrija dumplings (žlikrofi), homemade cottage cheese rolls (štruklji), and many more delights.
Our entire culinary offering is based on high-quality local ingredients and traditional recipes passed down through generations. We also maintain our own vegetable and herb garden, whose produce has been a regular part of our menu since the inn first opened.
You’re welcome to visit our wine cellar or in-house distillery, and even see the descendant of the world’s oldest vine — a 400-year-old Žametna Črnina, officially recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. We also boast a spacious sunny terrace with the most beautiful view in Radovljica, where you can relax in the shade of majestic chestnut trees and watch the sun set over the Julian Alps with Mount Triglav in the background.
